Delete your numiVeda account
numiVeda · Last updated 5 October 2026
You can delete your numiVeda account yourself, at any time, and it takes effect immediately. You do not need to email us, wait for a reply, or give a reason.
If you still have the app installed
This is the fastest route, and it completes inside the app:
- Open numiVeda and sign in.
- On the "Who is this for?" screen, tap Account in the top left.
- Tap Delete my account.
- Read what will be destroyed, type DELETE to confirm, and tap the red button.
It is done by the time the screen changes. The app then signs you out and tells you what was removed.
If you have already uninstalled the app
Your account still exists until it is deleted — uninstalling removes the app from your phone, not your data from our database. You have two options:
- Use the website. Open numiVeda in a browser, sign in with the same email address and password, and follow the four steps above. The website and the app are the same account and the same data.
- Ask us. Email support@numiveda.com from the address the account is registered to, with the subject "Delete my account". We will delete it and confirm by reply. If you write from a different address we will have to verify that the account is yours before doing anything — otherwise anyone could delete anyone.
What is deleted
In one step, from our live systems, permanently:
- Your sign-in — your email address, your password hash, and the link to your Google account if you used one.
- Your account and its daily usage counts.
- Every profile you created — including the name, date of birth, time of birth, place of birth and where each person lives.
- Every chart calculated from those profiles.
- Every day card ever written for them.
- Every tarot card of the day picked for them.
- Every notification token: the device tokens notifications were sent to.
- The record of every notification sent to you.
- Your credit balance. Unused credits are lost; deleting the account is not a refund.
- The record of every credit added to and used from your balance.
- The record of each credit pack you bought. Google Play and Razorpay keep their own records of the payment.
- Every myAstrologer conversation, including its title.
- Every question you typed in myAstrologer, and every reply written to you.
- Every myApps reading still kept — the answer, your question where it was kept, and the record of which door you used.
- The myApps daily-limit record, the short-lived count of readings you were given.
- Every question you asked about a myApps reading, and every answer.
These are removed by database cascade, not by a cleanup job that runs later: removing your sign-in record removes everything attached to it in the same transaction. Nothing is moved to an archive or marked as deleted. The app counts what was removed, in every one of those places, and reports an error rather than success if anything in the database survived.
What is not deleted straight away, and how long it lives
- Backups. The database is backed up every day, and those backups are encrypted and kept on a rolling cycle of seven days before they are overwritten automatically. A copy of your data can remain in a backup until that cycle completes.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps logs of requests to our servers, which include your account number and can include error details, and Google keeps logs of requests to its AI service. These are kept on those providers' own schedules, and deleting your account does not remove them.
- Email we have already sent you — a confirmation or password reset link — sits in your own inbox and is yours to delete.
- Anything you have paid for is not refunded by deleting your account, and a subscription bought through Google Play or the App Store is not cancelled by deleting your account. Cancel it in that store first if that is what you want.
Deleting only your readings
You do not have to delete your account to delete your readings. In the app, Account → Your readings deletes any myApps reading or myAstrologer conversation, or all of them at once, and your account stays. Deleted means removed from our database, not hidden.
There is no undo
There is no grace period, no thirty-day window, and no support process that can bring your account back. Once the deletion runs, your data is gone from our live systems and from any archive; the only copies left are in the encrypted backups described above, until they are overwritten. If you sign up again with the same email address you get a new, empty account.
